Dan is a husband, father, and pastor living and serving in northwest Iowa. He is also a rabid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks. Dan currently serves as Pastor of First Christian Church in Spencer, Iowa and retains the role of Spiritual Counselor at Compass Pointe in his spare time.
Prior to serving in Iowa, Dan served congregations in Oklahoma and Kansas with much of his ministerial focus and experience in the areas of music ministry and youth ministry.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS, a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, OK and is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. He was ordained to Christian ministry by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
