Introducing a New Blog

It's finally time to introduce a new blog that's been a long time in coming. Timothy Matthew Slemmons is Assistant Professor of Homiletics and Worship at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. He's also an excellent guitar player.

Tim has been working on this project for quite some time and has finally unveiled a fourth lectionary year he proposes adding to the Revised Common Lectionary. "Year D" as it is to be called, is designed to enhance the preacher and congregration's study of the scripture, bringing full attention to those texts which the RCL has left out.

Go ahead an give him a visit at The Year D Project by linking here.

Thanks, Dan. I expected to see the list of lectionary texts, and see if he included some of my favorites. So, I was surprised to see that it wasn't just lists of texts but a more complete resource with liturgies and hymn suggestions.
